Charla Lauriston is a Haitian-American writer and coach living in Montreal, QC.
Before becoming a coach, Charla worked as a standup comedian, television comedy writer, and producer. After years of hustling in Hollywood, burnout forced her to step away from comedy and the writer’s room, and as a result, she set out in search of more heart-centered work.
Charla started her coaching journey helping creatives struggling with imposter syndrome, perfectionism, and writer’s block through The Werking Writer.
She has a Certificate in Organizational Coaching from the University of British Columbia and trained as a Mindfulness Mentor through the Banyan Mindfulness Mentor Training Program. She now works to help teams, groups, organizations, and individuals from all backgrounds, thrive mindfully.
